Thank you for visiting the Kernersville Seventh-day Adventist Church web site. It is my hope that you will get several insights into what the Kernersville Church is all about by checking out the news and information we have posted.
Over the past 100 years the town of Kernersville and the Kernersville Seventh-day Adventist Church have both seen rather remarkable growth. Since its beginning in 1910 the church has outgrown two buildings and doubled the size of the present facility in 2005.
Many people have remarked about the warmth and friendliness of the church. Despite being one the largest Adventist churches in the Triad, the Kernersville Church has a family friendly feel.
To better serve its families and reach out to the community, the church cut the ribbon on a new Sabbath School wing, commercial kitchen and Family Life Center in November of 2005. This addition was dedicated debt-free on May 19, 2007 and has provided much needed space for ministries such as: youth and adult Sabbath School classes, Adventurer and Pathfinder meeting space, Vacation Bible School, indoor recreation, monthly fellowship dinners, Red Cross blood drives, Financial Peace University classes, health seminars and other creative community outreach events.
Two priorities for the Kernersville Church are its ministry to children and youth and its commitment to outreach and evangelism. The Kernersville Church offers a full Sabbath School program for infants to young adults. This is not just crafts and games but a study of God’s word and the development of a relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition the church has active Little Lambs, Eager Beavers, Adventurer and Pathfinder Clubs with over 50 children and teens that meet at least two Wednesday evenings each month from September through May.I could go on about many other exciting things that are happening at Kernersville as we attempt to reach out and minister to people in these troubling times in which we live. But don’t just take my word for it, come visit us one Sabbath (Saturday) morning soon and consider becoming part of a community of believers that looks forward to Jesus’ soon return and the importance of reaching lost people for Him!
